Timeshares With a Flair
A subsidiary of Pacific Monarch Resorts, a multi-resort and timeshare management company based in Southern California, Monarch Grand Vacations is a timeshare ownership program built on a current base of properties at five resorts, with expansion to additional resorts planned in Q3 2002.

The site is a .NET application on a SQL Server 2000 backend, and is almost complete database-driven and content managed via an administrative extranet. MGV staff can update resort information, home page data, and employment opportunities as often as desired. The site features a secure login for property owners, to permit them to view and update their registration information and consult their payment schedule. The current site is phase one of a multiphase expansion; phase two will include the ability for owners to trade weeks in their property for time at other properties, and will be able to check availability and make bookings in real time through the site.

The site builds on MGV's current branding, which stipulates a vivid purple ellipse on each design piece and collateral product relating to the timeshare program, and a purple and green "It's truly grand" logo on nearly every piece of media. Ninth Degree worked with this constraint to develop a site that nonetheless has striking and artistic visual components. It includes Flash navigation throughout that provides easy access to every part of the site. This site also includes Ninth Degree's proprietary site usability/traffic analysis technology.
